(3) New Ministers Appointed to the Government of Hope

Prime Minister Professor Kamil Idris issued today Decision No. (147) of 2025, appointing three ministers to the Government of Hope.

The decision included the appointment of Professor Ismat Qurashi Abdullah Mohammed as Minister of Agriculture and Irrigation, Professor Ahmed Mudawi Musa Mohammed as Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Professor Moez Omar Bakhit Al-Awad as Minister of Health.

The Prime Minister confirmed that the new appointments came after a careful review of competencies and experience.

It is worth noting that the number of ministers appointed so far has reached five. The Prime Minister had previously announced the appointment of the Ministers of Interior and Defense earlier last week. The remaining ministers are scheduled to be appointed successively.
