Participants in the consultative workshop to approve the updated protocols to address the main causes of maternal mortality approved the five protocols.

The Vice President of the Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology Specialists, Dr. Mustafa Farouk, praised the efforts of the Federal Ministry of Health and the Advisory Council, wishing that aids would be available to implement the protocols, with the help of the ministry.
