His Excellency the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Republic of Sudan, Ali bin Hassan Jaafar, met today, Wednesday, June 4, 2025, with His Excellency the Undersecretary of the Sudanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Hussein Al-Amin Al-Fadil, at the Sudanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs headquarters in Port Sudan.

During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Sudan, and ways to support and strengthen them in various fields to serve the common interests of the two brotherly peoples.
They also exchanged views on a number of issues of common interest on the regional and international arenas.

His Excellency the Ambassador affirmed the Kingdom’s keenness to continue its support for Sudan at this stage, in a way that enhances security, stability, and development, based on the deep historical ties that unite the two brotherly countries.

For his part, the Undersecretary of the Sudanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs praised the Kingdom’s steadfast brotherly stances and its support for Sudan, commending the depth of bilateral relations and the pioneering role played by the Kingdom at the regional and international levels.

It is worth noting that the Kingdom, through the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, has begun distributing thousands of food baskets in the capital to needy families through the Al-Ightnaam Organization, the center’s national partner. It also completed the construction of the desalination plant for Port Sudan hospitals a few days ago.
