Social Welfare in the Gezira State stresses the role of health insurance in alleviating poverty

Director General of the Ministry of Welfare and Social Development in the Gezira State,Yasser Khader Nassar stressed the role of health insurance in providing social protection for vulnerable segments of society and alleviating poverty, pointing to the importance of the partnership between the Zakat Chamber and health insurance.

The meeting discussed the preliminary results of the project to update the data of the social support segments and re-target the sponsored families , where the committee ensured the need to complete the review of the statements and match them with the mechanism of replacement and replacement of families in accordance with the controls and scheduling previous debts in accordance with the directives of the six-party committee to ensure the continuity of service.
