UNSC to hold special session on Sudan

The Sudanese Mission in New York reported that the UN Security Council will hold a special meeting on Sudan on Monday, May 19, to discuss the latest developments, including attacks on civilian and vital facilities in Port Sudan and other cities.

Sudan has called on international and regional organizations to hold meetings to discuss the UAE’s aggression against the country. Foreign Minister Ambassador Omar Siddiq sent letters in this regard to the President of the UN Security Council, the UN Secretary-General, the President of the UN General Assembly, and other international and regional organizations.
