Foreign Ministry holds the RSF’s sponsoring countries the responsibility of the militia’s violations

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs holds the regional and Western allies that sponsor the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) the responsibility of the serious violations committed by the militia in El Fasher and El Obeid.

In a statement, the Ministry stated that the terrorist militia has committed series of heinous humanitarian crimes over the past few hours, targeting purely civilian targets and claiming the lives of innocent civilians.

In its statement, the Ministry stated that the militia bombed World Food Program warehouses in El Fasher yesterday, completely burning it and the food supplies it contained.

Today, it also targeted Al-Daman Hospital in El Obeid, killing (16) patients who were receiving treatment, in addition to wounding a number of other hospital visitors and medical staff.
On Wednesday, the criminal militia attacked a popular market in the town of Al-Khuwai with drones, killing eight civilians.
They also targeted a residential neighborhood in the town of Al-Dibaibat, South Kordofan, killing two citizens.
The statement said that these successive major crimes, carried out in less than 72 hours, embody the terrorist militia’s deliberate and systematic targeting of civilians, humanitarian and civil institutions, and vital facilities, with the aim of inflicting the greatest possible loss of life and preventing the provision of essential services, including food, water, medical care, and electricity.
The militia targeted all operating hospitals in El Fasher, putting most of them out of service. It also destroyed the Zamzam IDPs camp, including its residents, after it had been subjected to continuous shelling with long-range heavy artillery for an entire year.
It also launched a ground attack on the camp, killing hundreds of displaced persons and taking the remaining ones hostage.
It noted that some reports indicated that the militia deported more than (300) displaced women from the Zamzam camp as hostages to Nyala, while it continues its siege of the city, preventing food supplies and burning food warehouses, aiming at imposing a slow death on its residents, just as it did in the detention and torture camps for civilians that were exposed after the liberation of the capital.

The statement noted that vital facilities in Al-Obeid remained vulnerable to militia drone attacks, including hospitals, schools, neighborhoods, markets, and even the city’s prison, where more than 40 inmates were killed earlier this month.

Dozens of militia attacks on electricity and water stations across the country have also led to the spread of epidemics due to the lack of safe drinking water in some areas.

The Foreign Ministry held regional sponsoring states responsible for the militia’s crimes, as they are the source of the strategic drones used to commit these crimes and the funding of mercenaries who constitute the militia’s core, including those who manage the drones. It warned that the Western powers allied with the militia, the states sponsoring the militia, also bear a significant share of the responsibility for the protection they provide in international forums and their tolerance of the militia’s crimes.
