Editorial: Deception and Fooling Narrative

The Spokesperson of the European Union issued the following statement on the attacks on Port Sudan

In light of recent drone attacks on Port Sudan reportedly carried out by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), the European Union expresses its profound concern over the escalation of hostilities in Sudan.

These attacks, which targeted critical infrastructure including civilian facilities, mark a significant and troubling expansion of the conflict into previously unaffected regions, where thousands of Sudanese civilians and international partners had relocated, fleeing active combat zones.

The EU unequivocally condemns the RSF’s use of drone strikes against civilian and key targets. Such actions, supported by international backers, not only threaten the safety and well-being of Sudanese civilians and international staff residing in Port Sudan but also undermine regional stability and violate international humanitarian law.

The EU stands in solidarity with the African Union and other international partners in urging all parties involved in the Sudanese conflict to cease hostilities, engage in constructive dialogue, and commit to a peaceful resolution. The EU remains committed to supporting efforts aimed at restoring peace and stability in Sudan.

We call upon all stakeholders to prioritise the protection of civilians, ensure unhindered humanitarian access, and work collaboratively towards a sustainable and inclusive peace process. We also repeat our call to all states supplying arms and funds to the belligerents to cease their support immediately and unite in favour of peace.

The narrative of the official spokesperson of the European Union contains a great deal of deception and obfuscation of the facts – and in reference to the recent drone attacks, the statement said that it was reported that the Rapid Support Forces were the ones who carried out these attacks.
Perhaps the Europeans know for certain, with their technology and satellite tracking, that the evil state and the protégé of the Jews, the Emirates, is the one behind these attacks that targeted infrastructure and civilian facilities. Perhaps their timid indication that these attacks are supported by international parties is a veiled admission of the involvement of the evil state and others, including some neighboring countries, in the aggression against Sudan.
Why doesn’t the EU call a spade a spade instead of beating around the bush.
