Director of the GIS: We are ready to defend the dignity of the nation and its citizens and to make sacrifice

Lieutenant General Ahmed Ibrahim Mufadal, Director General of the General Intelligence Service (GIS), greeted the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan, stressing that the GIS wil defend the dignity of the nation and its citizens and to make sacrifices with their lives and souls.
He also saluted the nation’s righteous martyrs who sacrificed themselves to protect the land and honor, and whose names are inscribed in the register of immortals.

He expressed his pleasure at the graduation ceremony of the (21) qualifying batch of Intelligence Service personnel after they received intensive training and advanced qualifications from experts specializing in military sciences.
Lieutenant General Mufadal, expressed appreciation to the Commander-in-Chief, thanked the steadfast stance of the wise leadership of the armed forces, which had a significant impact in resolving the rebellion and defeating the rebel militia.
He noted that the cohesion of the regular forces and their combatants encouraged the fighters to sacrifice themselves for the sake of security and peace in the country.

The Director General of the GIS added that members of the General Intelligence Service joined forces from the first day of the rebellion, alongside their comrades in the armed forces, police forces, joint forces, and mobilized personnel from all over Sudan, offering sacrifices that they will continue to do until the rebellion is defeated from every inch of our beloved homeland.

He stressed that the GIS has continued to work professionally in all areas of security and intelligence work and national security by combating transnational organized crime, combating terrorism and crimes that threaten the safety of society, represented by drug trafficking and arms smuggling, as well as preserving the country’s resources from destructive economic activities.
He pointed out that the Service provided support and assistance to various executive state institutions in the economic, social, cultural and service fields, as well as in supporting official diplomacy to protect the country’s supreme interests. He pointed out that the armed forces throughout history, through its colleges and specialized institutes, have produced men and graduated heroes.
The Director General advised the graduates to keep the homeland in mind and to be their first and sole loyalty to the homeland, far from any other partisan, ethnic or regional tendencies, and to remember in every step they take the oath they took and that any work must be in accordance with the law, ethics and virtuous Sudanese values ​​​​and what is included in international conventions in the field of human rights and humanitarian law.
