Al-Burhan Congratulates the President of Eritrea on His Country’s Independence Day

Head of the Sovereignty Council, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan, sent a congratulatory cable to President Isaias Afwerki of Eritrea on the occasion of his country’s Independence Day.

In his cable, Al-Burhan said, “As your country celebrates its glorious Independence Day, I am pleased to extend to you, on my behalf and on behalf of the Sudanese people, my warmest congratulations and sincere wishes for progress and prosperity for your brotherly people, and for you good health and happiness.”

Al-Burhan praised the strong fraternal ties between the two countries, noting the depth of the distinguished bilateral relations between Sudan and Eritrea, stressing the government’s determination to develop and strengthen them to achieve common interests and bilateral cooperation in various fields to confront current challenges and threats.
