The Federal Chamber of the Joint Campaign to Provide Integrated Nutrition Services and Vaccinate Unvaccinated Children Under Five Years Old held its meeting on Tuesday at the Reproductive Health Hall in Kassala State, listening to reports from various departments.
The National Coordinator for Nutrition in Emergency at the National Nutrition Program, Rania Ahmed Daoud, confirmed the continuation of the integrated campaign to provide nutrition services and vaccinate children under five years old who are not vaccinated in the Nile River, pointing out that it is a joint campaign that brings together several departments in the ministry.
The campaign aims to provide a package of services for children under five years old, pregnant women, and lactating women, the most important of which is the discovery of malnourished children and their referral to centers. In addition, it provides vitamin pills and badazole, as well as guiding pregnant mothers to go to centers to receive Vivol pills , and reduce cases of anemia in the community, considering this one of the most important interventions.
