“I hope to express to the leadership, headed by His Excellency Head Lieutenant General Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan, my appreciation and gratitude for the trust placed in me to serve my beloved country. I was honored to assume the management of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs amidst mounting challenges. I responded, met them, and exerted my utmost effort. I received full cooperation from the Ministry’s staff, who were dedicated, generous, and selfless. I depart today satisfied with what I have offered for my beloved country. I will remain a loyal soldier to my country. My thanks and appreciation go to my fellow ministers and officials with whom I was assigned, and with whom I have enjoyed extensive cooperation, consultation, and support. I also extend my gratitude to my brothers and sisters in the various media outlets, representatives of civil society, and its various activities. I salute and honor the great Sudanese people, the valiant armed forces, and the courageous supporting forces who repelled the aggression, brought about the dawn of victory and good tidings, and healed Wounds, glory, and immortality to the martyrs, who are more honorable than all of us. We wish Sudan security, peace, and stability. God is behind every intention, and He guides us to the right path.”
