IGAD Executive Secretary congratulates new Djibouti Foreign Minister on assuming office

The Executive Secretary of the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD)، Workneh Gebeyehu
congratulated His Excellency Abdulkadir Hussein Omar on his appointment as Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of Djibouti.

He expressed his aspiration to work and cooperate with him in his capacity as Chairperson of the IGAD Council of Ministers to lead the region together towards greater peace and integration.
Workneh Gebeyehu also reiterated his thanks to the President of Djibouti and current IGAD Chairperson, His Excellency Ismail Omar Guelleh, for his unwavering support and commitment to the vision and objectives of the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD).
