The Sudan Electricity Company announced that the Atbara Transformer Station was attacked by drones on Friday morning.
The company stated in a press release that this is the fourth attack, resulting in a power outage in the River Nile and Red Sea states.
The company stated that civil defense forces are working to extinguish the fire, and that the company will conduct a technical assessment of the effects of the bombing and begin taking the necessary measures.
The terrorist Rapid Support Forces militia has recently targeted electricity infrastructure in the River Nile and Northern states.
It goes without saying that targeting the power stations is considered a terrible human crime which threats the lives of people as it results to halting all aspects of life.
It is apparent that the RSF militia failed to defeat the Sudanese army in the battlefield, so it tend to launch shameful acts aiming at pressuring on the army.
This heinous crime should not be overlooked and the international community must reveal this barbaric practice of the RSF militia and their danger to humanity in general and to the Sudanese people in particular.
