Drones target Atbara Transformer Station transformers

On Monday, April 14, 2025, the Atbara station was attacked by drones, resulting in direct hits on the transformers supplying the River Nile and Red Sea states, leading to a power outage in both states.
Civil Defense Forces are making great efforts to extinguish the fire.
A technical assessment of the effects of the attack will be conducted, and the necessary measures will then be taken.
