Directives to transfer the Emergency Operations Center to work from the Ministry’s headquarters in Khartoum State

The Acting Federal Minister of Health, Dr. Haitham Mohamed Ibrahim, directed the transfer of the Health Emergency Operations Center to work from its headquarters in Khartoum State, in preparation for the gradual transfer to other departments of the ministry, provided that this is preceded by arrangements for a delegation provided for processing and providing requirements, so that the health can stand on the ground to prepare for the safe return of citizens and other state institutions.
During his intervention at the meeting of the Federal Emergency Operations Center , the minister stressed the focus on priorities, especially to address the epidemics of cholera, dengue fever and disease vector control, which need the largest amount of funding in the coming period, praising the efforts made by the Emergency Operations Center, describing it as the leader of the ministry’s work by providing information and thus responding to it from the presidency of the ministry and organizations, calling for activating health promotion and moving society.
The meeting reviewed the reports of the health situation in the country due to cholera, dengue fever and malaria, the interventions implemented by the departments to control.
