Alia Abouna: We want the world to take action towards what is happening in El Fasher, and we will not forgive ourselves.

Ms. Alia Abouna, head of the Sudan Women’s Initiative, said that the silence of the world has become a puzzling thing about what is happening in the massacres of Davor, specifically El Fasher.
The assassination of about 500 people is a great deal, and the displacement of more than 480,000 families from the camp of Zamzam and Abushok to the unknown is a brutal act of the Rapid Support Militia.
My message to the Secretary-General of the United Nations and to the members of the Security Council and the European Union is
that during the last period, four female doctors were martyred: Ferdous Al-Tayeb Musa, Hadeel Adam Hassan, Hanadi Al-Nour Daoud and Safa Abdul Rahman Hamed and three of her children and pharmacist Amna Ahmed Bakhit. They were killed while doing their duty.
Tens of thousands of women have been abandoned, tortured and raped, and many have an unknown fate.
The world is required to take firm action.
We should not relieve ourselves to do something that saves the lives of nearly one million people in El Fasher, surrounded by the Janjaweed militia, and there is no time to talk. It is time to take action.
