The activities of the workshop to update the guidelines of the health promotion component in routine vaccination, organized by the Expanded Program on Immunization and Health Promotion Program at the General Administration of Basic Health Care, in cooperation with the Kuwaiti Patients Aid Fund and with the support of UNICEF, organized in Kassala and will continue until Saturday.

In the opening session, the Acting Director of the General Administration of Basic Health Care, Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Abdullah, directed to harmonize the guidelines to be in line with the current conditions in the country.

The representative of the Expanded Program on Immunization (EPI), Nader Hammad, said that the workshop is important to review and update all guidelines for health promotion.

The representative of the Kuwaiti Patients Aid Fund, Mubarak Al-Sharif, noted the partnership to increase access to immunization services at the current critical stage.
