The Emirati domination over the Republic of South Sudan

By: Ibrahim Peter Marclo – Journalist from South Sudan
One of the strange paradoxes that only occurs in the Republic of South Sudan is that an Emirati company called (AIAL Group) claims that it has invested US$226,156,143 in the Republic of South Sudan within one month (January 2025) in the projects of the vast majority of South Sudan’s national security, for example (Digitization of government services and security systems in the Central Bank of South Sudan and the Parliament of South Sudan and housing registry programming, in addition to the tax collection system, the security of the capital, Juba, and surveys of government websites and digitization, the Ministry of Defense records the General Directorate of Training and the Presidential Guard Training Center.
All the aforementioned things are under the control of the UAE through its investment companies in the Republic of South Sudan, and by returning to the title of the article (Emirati Domination over the Republic of South Sudan), we reveal that the UAE has disgraced the data it needs from South Sudan with its projects.
For example, the records of the South Sudan Ministry of Defense, which are supposed to be digitized, how to hand over to a foreign agent or company in addition to the security systems in the Parliament of South Sudan, and if we add contracts to it with the Ministry of Defense and the Presidential Guard, we discover that all the financial and military systems and records, to the lands and housing in the Republic of South Sudan, it is at the disposal of the UAE, even the records of the South Sudanese traffic police, the UAE hands extended to it,
The UAE, through its companies, became responsible for the supply and maintenance of vehicle license plates machines in South Sudan.
The UAE, and through its companies, has become responsible for the comprehensive security systems at the airport, in addition to the Emirati company obtaining a contract to build the international charging station at Juba Airport and the security systems around the airport, so that everything that enters and exits from Juba Airport is under the eyes of the Emirates, and what was hidden was greater.
