Nile Valley University signs a MoU with Konya University in Turkey to enhance academic cooperation

Nile Valley University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Konya Technical University of Agriculture and Nutrition in Turkey to enhance academic and research cooperation between the two universities.
This came during the visit of the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Konya University, Professor Muhammad Klining, accompanied by Dr. Yuhan Bozbas, Educational Attaché at the Turkish Embassy in Sudan.
Professor Hassan Al-Sa’im, Bice-Chancellor of Nile Valley University, welcomed the Turkish delegation, stressing the importance of partnership in exchanging expertise and developing scientific research.
The delegation also reviewed food security projects and irrigation networks, praising the scientific methods used.
The visit witnessed a meeting with the Governor of the River Nile State and of Ministers of Agriculture, Animal Resources and Investment, who stressed the importance of cooperation in raising the capabilities of farmer’s and enhancing economic development.
At the end of the visit, agreements were signed to activate investment cooperation, in the presence of Sheikh Abdel Aziz Ahmed Awad El Sayed, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Nile Valley University, who stressed the depth of relations between Sudan and Turkey and the importance of this partnership in supporting the academic and economic sectors.
