Naeem: Losses in Energy and Oil amount to $20 Billion

Minister of Energy and Petroleum, Dr. Mohieddin Naeem, announced that losses in the energy and oil sectors exceeded $20 billion, adding that the damage included the physical structure of oil facilities, the loss of crude oil and petroleum products stored in strategic warehouses produced by the Khartoum Refinery, as well as sabotage and deliberate damage to oil fields, the theft of cables for wells, camps, worker housing, spare parts warehouses, and the destruction of the Prime Minister’s Office buildings.
Naeem said that, despite this, there is no fuel crisis for citizens or the armed forces. Most safe states have electricity, while efforts are underway to restore service to areas recently liberated from the Rapid Support Forces.
