GIS congratulates the Sudanese leadership and people on Eid al-Fitr

Lieutenant General Ahmed Ibrahim Ali Mufadal, Director General of the General Intelligence Service (GIS) , his deputy, Lieutenant General Mohamed Abbas Al-Labib, and the officers, non-commissioned officers, and soldiers of the Service, extend their warmest congratulations and blessings on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr to the Head of the Sovereignty Council, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, his deputy, members of the Sovereignty Council, the Chief of the Judiciary, the Prime Minister-designate and members of the Council of Ministers, the Chief of Staff and his deputies, the Director-General of Police, all members of the regular forces, and the Sudanese people.

The GIS affirmed its pride in the sacrifices of the armed forces, the regular and joint forces, and the mobilized forces, who set an example of sacrifice until Khartoum regained its freedom.
It also saluted the efforts of the General Intelligence Service personnel in defending the nation’s security and stability.
The GIS hoped that peace and stability would prevail in Sudan, asking God to accept the nation’s martyrs and grant the wounded a speedy recovery.
