Foreign Minister meets his Yemeni counterpart on the sidelines of the Arab League meetings

Dr. Ali Youssef, Minister of Foreign Affairs, met today with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs of the Republic of Yemen, Shaye Mohsen Al-Zindani, on the sidelines of their participation in the meeting of the Ministerial Council of the League of Arab States in Cairo.
The meeting discussed the bilateral relations between the two countries and the deep-rooted historical ties between their peoples.
The meeting also touched on the similarity of the challenges facing the two countries at the present time, as the Minister expressed his hope that they would overcome them in the near future.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs thanked the Republic of Yemen for its positions supporting the unity and stability of Sudan and the legitimate government in place therein and its rejection of foreign interference in its internal affairs and the formation of any parallel entities that would endanger its unity and stability.
He expressed Sudan’s continued position in support of the return of stability and harmony to the Republic of Yemen. The Minister reviewed the current developments in Sudan, and reassured his Yemeni counterpart of the progress of the Sudanese Armed Forces on all fronts, in preparation for spreading peace and stability throughout Sudan.
