Federal Minister of Health Meets Red Sea State Governor

The Acting Federal Minister of Health, Dr. Haitham Mohamed Ibrahim, affirmed the continuation of his ministry’s efforts to stabilize the health situation in the Red Sea State, expressing his thanks to the state government for its interest in the health sector.

This came during his meeting with the Governor of the Red Sea State, Lieutenant General Mustafa Mohamed Nour, at his quarantine office in Port Sudan, in the presence of the Director General of the Health Sector in the state, Dr. Ahlam Abdel Rasoul, and a number of ministry leaders.

The minister praised the efforts of the health sector in the state, pointing to the need for environmental reform and combating epidemics in the Red Sea, stressing his ministry’s commitment to filling the gaps. He explained that the meeting dealt with health issues in the state, including drug supply, health emergencies and the operation of health institutions.
