Honoured to have convened IGAD staff in Djibouti for a special Iftar gathering to mark both the Holy Month of Ramadhan and International Women’s Day 2025.
Tonight’s celebration brings us together in a spirit of unity and reflection, celebrating the intersection of faith, culture, and gender equality.
International Women’s Day is a reminder to recognize the incredible accomplishments of women and reflect on the progress made toward gender equality. This is a call to support and uplift women every day, not just on this special occasion.
