Egypt Renews Full Support for Sudan and Preserving Its Legitimate Institutions

Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration Dr. Badr Abdel Aty received Sudanese Foreign Minister Dr. Ali Youssef El-Sherif yesterday evening (Thursday) to discuss bilateral relations between the two countries and review the latest developments on the ground in Sudan.
Ambassador Tamim Khalaf, the official spokesperson for the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated that Abdel Aty expressed Egypt’s full solidarity with Sudan, given the special historical relations and close fraternal ties between the two countries and peoples.
He emphasized Egypt’s support for Sudanese national institutions and their efforts to restore stability and peace in Sudan, expressing Egypt’s position for respecting the sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity of Sudan.
The two sides also discussed efforts aimed at supporting Sudan at the regional and international levels.
