Approval of new programs in private and civil higher education institutions

Professor Mohamed Hassan Dahab, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, stressed the necessity of implementing the ministry’s recent directives regarding the return of private and governmental higher education institutions to their headquarters inside the country, in line with the state’s policy aimed at stabilizing the educational process in the country.
This came during his chairing of the meeting of the Committee for Regulating Private, Civil and Foreign Higher Education Institutions at the ministry’s temporary headquarters in Port Sudan, in person and via video conference, in the presence of the committee members, which approved a number of new projects and programs in a number of private and civil higher education institutions.
It is worth noting that the Committee for Regulating Private, Civil and Foreign Higher Education Institutions is responsible for studying and evaluating the projects of private, civil and foreign higher education institutions submitted to it in accordance with locally and internationally recognized scientific standards, and works to follow up on the performance and progress of these institutions, and provide them with advice and counsel to help them perform well and advance.
