Agar Back Home after an official visit to Uganda

Deputy Head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Malik Agar returned to Port Sudan after an official visit to Uganda.

He was received at Port Sudan International Airport by Muhammad by the Secretary of the Sovereignty Council, Lt. Gen. Al-Ghali Ali Youssef, Minister of Transport, Engineer Abu Bakr Abu Al-Qasim.
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Hussein Al-Amin Al-Fadil, said in a press statement that Agar held a session of talks with Ugandan President Kaquta Yuri Museveni, which dealt with the developments in the country and the great progress made by the armed forces and the forces supporting them in all axes.
He added that Agar briefed the Ugandan president on the political movement in Sudan, especially following is the amendment of the constitutional document and the imminence of the formation of a government of national competencies. Ambassador Hussein added that the meeting discussed the issue of Kenya’s hosting of the so-called political charter, referring to the Ugandan president’s position not to support his country’s support for any parallel government to be formed.
His Excellency pointed out that the Deputy Head of the Sovereignty Council expressed Sudan’s appreciation for the generous hosting of the Sudanese government to Sudanese refugees, noting that the Ugandan president expressed his desire to visit Sudan next June.
