Bloody Clashes Between Two RSF Factions in North Darfur

Violent clashes erupted yesterday, Monday, between two armed factions in the Eyal Amin area of the Al-Towisha locality in North Darfur State, resulting in a number of deaths and injuries.
According to informed sources, the clashes erupted between the Tijani North rebel group and the Daein 32 group, sparked by a dispute over the latter’s monopolization of the transport of three trucks loaded with peanuts from the village of Rahad Al-Tur, in the Al-Lait countryside, to be sold in Nyala.
The clashes ceased yesterday evening, but tensions remain high, amid fears of renewed clashes in retaliation for the deaths.
