SPLM-N revolts against Al-Hilu

The Sudan People’s Liberation Movement- North (SPLM-N) Liberation Council/Nuba Mountains issued a press release on the participation of Commander Abdel Aziz Al-Hilu in the Nairobi conference.
The press release affirmed that the SPLM-N name was circulated in a conference held in the Kenyan capital (Nairobi) on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, which included a number of civil political forces, the Rapid Support Forces, and other armed movements with the aim of signing a Political charter that paves the way for the formation of a civilian government in areas controlled by the Rapid Support Forces and the SPLM-N.

The press release confirmed that the SPLM-N Liberatiin Council did not authorize the leader of the movement / or any member of the accompanying delegation to represent the SPLM-N in this meeting.

The SPLM-N confirmed its full commitment to the essence of its cause and the roots of its struggle and will not allow the Rapid Support Forces government to be in Kauda or any areas controlled by the SPLN-N.

The SPLM-N Liberation Council in the Nuba Mountains region will meet to take the necessary decisions regarding the participants without authorization from the SPLM-N
