Signal Corps Commander: We were subjected to more than (50) attacks and captured (36) fully equipe combat vehicles

Major General Abdel Aziz Mohamed Abakar, Commander of Khartoum North Military Region and Commander of the Signal Corps, revealed that his corps was subjected to more than 50 consecutive attacks by the Rapid Support Militia.
Despite his forces being classified as support forces and not combat, his forces were able to confront these attacks valiantly.
During his meeting with a delegation from the Volunteer Media System, Abakar said that his forces confronted the first attack using only Kalashnikov weapons, and succeeded in capturing 36 fully equipped vehicles on the second day of the battle. He pointed out that the soldiers were trained on this advanced equipment, which contributed to enhancing their defensive capabilities.
Major General Abakar confirmed that the military sites affiliated with Khartoum North region, including the Signal Corps and the Transport Corps, played a decisive role in protecting the General Command from the northern side.
They continued to defend with all their strength until the Kadro Army met with the Signal Army to lift the siege on the area.
The Commander of the Signal Corps stressed that the enemy, no matter how many people and equipment it has, will not prevail over the armed forces.
He stressed that the victory achieved by the armed forces was supported by the determination and faith of the Sudanese people, who stood by their armed forces in an unprecedented manner.
