Narcissistic Acts: Failure in Third World Countries – 2

Governments in third world countries can use failure as a learning tool to improve governance, policies, and institutions. Instead of seeing failure as a dead end, successful governments analyze mistakes, adapt, and implement better strategies, through the following steps:

1. Acknowledge and Analyze Failures: governments can conduct independent investigations and audits. Accept responsibility instead of blaming others. And use data and research to understand what went wrong.
2. Learn from Mistakes: it is important to study past policy failures and their consequences. Identify gaps in governance, leadership, or execution. And use case studies from other countries to find better solutions.
3. Improve Transparency and Accountability. By Strengthening anti-corruption measures. Encouraging free press and public discussions. And implementing open-data policies to track progress and failures.
4. Involve Citizens in Solutions. Allow public feedback on policies without any forms of repression. Use technology to engage citizens. And build trust by being responsive to people’s concerns.
5. Adapt and Innovate Policies: by shifting strategies based on new information, and encourage experimentation in governance.
6. Strengthen Institutions. By improving checks and balances to prevent repeated failures, and train public servants to be more effective and ethical.
7. Build Resilience for Future Challenges. Develop long-term strategies instead of short-term fixes. And prepare for crises through contingency planning.

If Sudan’s new government is to follow the above mentioned advices and make implementation of the strategies put by the well qualifies Sudanese citizens, the country will see the light after all of this difficult time, and all the Sudanese residing in the Capital will come back and rise up with the country again. And it is always important to learn from our past and the past of other countries; below are few examples of Governments Learning from Failure:
– South Korea: After financial crises in the 1990s, it implemented stronger financial regulations and became an economic powerhouse.
– Germany: Learned from its past, focusing on democratic stability and economic strength after World War II.
– Singapore: Improved governance by using feedback loops and policy experimentation to become one of the most efficient governments.

May Allah grant wisdom and positive thinking to our leaders, soldiers, and Sudanese citizen to rise up with our beloved country once again.
