Minister of Energy: Chinese CNPC confirmed its readiness to reconstrut the Refinery

Minister of Energy and Oil, Dr. Mohi El-Din Naeem Mohamed Saeed,
said during their recent visit to China accompanied by Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, Head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, the CNPC confirmed its readiness and preparedness to inspect the refinery after the war for reconstruction.
This came during his visit yesterday to Khartoum Refinery after its liberation from the militia’s filth.
He was received by the Director General of the Khartoum Refinery, Eng. Alaa El-Din Fath Al-Rahman and number of engineers and technicians.
The Minister gave a breif on the extent of the damage, indicating that many units inside the refinery were damaged, confirming the loss of approximately 700,000 barrels of diesel, equivalent to the load of a ship, addibg that despite the huge losses, we found the workers very enthusiastic about the reconstruction as soon as possible.
For his part, the General Manager of the Refinery gave a comprehensive presentation in which he explained the extent of the losses incurred by the refinery and its main units, and that this destruction was systematic and requires a lot to restore the refinery to its former state, adding that this will only be achieved with determination, persistence and the efforts of its people.
It is worth noting that this visit came immediately after his return from participating in the Energy Conference in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
