Member of the Sovereignty Council, Abdullah Yahya, confirmed the state’s interest in the agricultural sector and supporting agricultural investment areas.
The Sovereignty Council member, during his inspection of the Awlad Al-Mubarak Agricultural Project in Al-Daba Locality in the Northern State, praised the role of the private sector in investing in the field of agriculture to achieve food security, absorb and employ workers and combat unemployment.
It is noteworthy that the project extends over an area of ​​more than fifteen thousand acres to cultivate wheat as a main crop, in addition to clover, vegetables and legumes, as it depends on irrigation from the Nile and depends on electricity and solar energy for operation.
