Kuwait announces its refusal to form a parallel government in Sudan.

In a statement, the Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry considered that such a measure is an interference in Sudan’s internal affairs or a threat to its territorial integrity.
At the same time, it stressed the need to protect the official institutions in Sudan and the commitment of all parties to the outputs of the Jeddah Declaration signed in May 2023, confirming its firm stance towards Sudan’s sovereignty and the safety of its people and lands.
