Kenyan flights banned from crossing Sudanese airspace

Foreign Minister Ali Youssef said that the government will take escalatory measures against Kenya for hosting and sponsoring forces calling for the formation of a parallel government, including banning Kenyan flights and stopping Nairobi’s exports.

He added in statements to Asharq Al-Awsat that this move is unacceptable and does not conform to the internal situation in Sudan, noting that “it is illogical for national political forces to ally with a militia that carries out attacks against the Sudanese people.”
