Jaber pledges to contribute to the reconstruction efforts of Sennar State

Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Assistant Commander, Lieutenant General Engineer, Ibrahim Jaber, was briefed on the overall situation in Sennar State and the necessary needs to restore services and rebuild what was destroyed by the war in the state.
His Excellency indicated during his meeting yesterday in his office with the Governor of Sennar, Major General (Rtd.) Al-Zubair Hassan Al-Sayed, the government’s keenness to optimally employ the available capabilities in achieving security and stability and meeting the necessary needs of citizens.
For his part, the Governor of Sennar said that the meeting touched on farmers’ debts and the possibility of simplifying the procedures of the Agricultural Bank for farmers who lost their savings that were looted by the terrorist militia, in addition to the importance of providing agricultural fuel early, and providing agricultural investment opportunities in the irrigated sector.
Sennar Governor added that the meeting discussed ways of reconstruction in the field of infrastructure and public facilities and the restoration of assets and vehicles, in addition to computer and communications systems, and the need to encourage partnerships working on the Hawata-Singa road to complete the remaining work on the road.
His Excellency pointed out that the member of the Sovereignty Council promised to direct the Sudanese Mineral Resources Company to encourage companies to explore in the Jebel Moya area and bring it into the production cycle.
