Assassination of Major General Abdullah Hussein Adam in Gezira State amid escalating divisions within the RSF

Identical sources from Gezira State reported that the Rapid Support Forces militia assassinated one of its prominent leaders, Major General Abdullah Hussein Adam, near the Al-Kamlin area.
Major General Abdullah is one of the most famous leaders of the Rapid Support Forces, known for his bravery and strong personality. He also commanded the Fifth Division, Madani, and belongs to the Bani Halba tribe.
According to those close to Major General Abdullah, members of the Mahriya tribe, one of the Rizeigat clans, carried out the assassination, against the backdrop of escalating differences within the militia leadership after the recent defeats it suffered, amidst the exchange of accusations and suspicions of cooperation with the Sudanese Armed Forces.
The liquidation of Major General Abdullah comes in the context of a series of operations targeting a number of militia leaders and collaborators, the last of whom was the well-known field commander Jalha, in addition to the collaborator Al-Tayeb Obeid, head of the Umma Party in Umm Rawaba locality, who joined them after the militia entered the city.
