Algeria’s representative in the UN Security Council affirmed his country’s support for the diplomatic path to resolve the conflict in Sudan.
He warned against steps to form a parallel government.
During a session of the UN Security Council on the situation in Sudan, the Algerian delegate expressed his concern about the recent political developments, pointing out the importance of launching a comprehensive peace process led by the Sudanese themselves, welcoming the technocratic government recently announced by the Sudanese authorities.
