Al-Burhan inspects the Khartoum Refinery in Jaili

Head of the Sovereignty Council, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan inspected the Khartoum Oil Refinery in the Jaili
area.

He saw the extent of the damage to this vital economic edifice, stressing the state’s determination to rebuild it and return it to its former glory so that it can operate at its maximum capacity.
He indicated that what the terrorist RSFv militia has done in terms of destruction and sabotage of the infrastructure and strategic facilities will be paid for sooner or later. The Commander-in-Chief said that these vital facilities belong to the Sudanese people. However, this aggressive group wanted to target the country’s economic and development resources and capabilities by attacking them.
Al-Burhan and the accompanying delegation toured the refinery departments and met with a number of work teams of engineers.
He listened to a detailed briefing from the refinery manager about the efforts made by the technical team in assessing losses and damages and addressing some problems.
He stressed that engineers and technicians are currently working to repair some of the damaged lines and depots.
