Al-Burhan addresses the conference to support e-learning initiatives and projects and the educational technical infrastructure in Darfur region
Head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan addressed, today, the conference to support e-learning initiatives and projects and the educational technical infrastructure in Darfur region, in the presence of the Governor of the region, Minni Arko Minnawi, and a number of ministers and heads of diplomatic missions accredited to Sudan.
Al-Burhan said that education is a right for all and it is the state’s duty to support it and address all the problems it faces, praising the efforts made by the Ministries of Higher Education and Communications to launch e-learning platforms.
He pointed to the role played by UNICEF in supporting e-learning, calling for the need to pay attention to education, indicating that more than 10 million children have lost their chance of education due to the damned war launched by the terrorist Rapid Support militia against the state and its institutions.
He affirmed that the Sudanese are united and cohesive and are fighting together on all fronts in order to preserve the unity of Sudan, its people and its capabilities.
He indicated that Sudan is one of the first countries to gain independence in the African continent and contributed to the liberation of most of the African countries that are currently conspiring against it and trying to interfere in its internal affairs.
Al-Burhan added, “We are determined and will continue on the path that we have accepted with the Sudanese people,” referring to the people’s rallying around their armed forces in order to defeat the rebellion and any external conspiracy against them.
His Excellency praised the armed forces, other regular forces, and the supporting forces in the Battle of Dignity
“The Sudanese people will triumph in the end, whether those like it or not,” stressing that no external solutions will be imposed on these people.” Al-Burhan said
He sent a message to the African Union and the United Nations stating that the Sudanese people will not accept that a government be imposed on them or that Hamdok or anyone else be imposed on them.
He added that whoever wants to rule Sudan must first come to the homeland and fight with the Sudanese people to defeat the rebellion.
He said that there is no place for foreign parties among us from today on. He said that the African Union and IGAD must consider that the role they are playing will not satisfy the Sudanese people.
He added, “How can they bring figures who are rejected by the Sudanese to appoint them again over the people of Sudan?”
Al-Burhan said, “I am surprised by some countries that are calling for Hamdok to rule again.”
He said that no one can impose a government on the Sudanese people from abroad.
The international and regional community must provide their energies and efforts because the Sudanese people have clearly said their word and are devoting all their time to defeating the conspiracy targeting their security and stability.
His Excellency reiterated the emphasis on moving forward in the battle of dignity until the country is cleansed of the filth of rebellion,
“Our ultimate goal is to have a single national professional army entrusted with carrying arms and defending Sudan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. It must be far from politics and have no connection to partisanship.” Al-Burhan said
He said that the talk about contacts with the FFC is pure rumors and lies, and he said that our contacts are only with the fighters in the field.
Al-Burhan expressed his thanks and appreciation to all friendly and sisterly countries that stood by Sudan, indicating that what happened in Addis Ababa two days ago demonstrated that many countries that stand by the right refrained from participating in the humanitarian conference that was organized with the aim of whitewashing the aggressors against the Sudanese people.
