Agar meets the Minister of Labor and Administrative Reform
Deputy Head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Commander Malik Agar Ayre, met in his office, yesterday, with the Minister of Labor and Administrative Reform, Ahmed Ali Abdel Rahman.
His Excellency was briefed on the final arrangements for the Civil Service Conference, which was directed by the Head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council to discuss civil service issues in Sudan, pointing out the need to hold the conference as soon as possible.
The meeting discussed the job and financial conditions of state employees and the coordination that took place between the Council of Ministers and the relevant ministries to implement the decisions and recommendations of the Civil Service Affairs Bureau to grant workers a meal allowance and housing support to ease the burdens of living.
The meeting discussed the formation of a committee to study the conditions of teachers, adjust their financial conditions, distinguish them by placing them at the top of the wage scale, and implement the outcomes of the workshop and administrative reform that was held recently on the ground.
The Minister of Labor and Administrative Reform explained that the Civil Service Conference discusses issues such as the duty of the civil service in the renaissance of the nation and its role in sustainable economic development, building the renaissance and reconstruction, noting that the conference will discuss the issue of labor laws and their relationship with the private sector, in addition to corruption in the civil service, the absence of strategic planning and ways to achieve job satisfaction. The Minister explained that the Vice President of the Sovereignty Council was briefed on some technical aspects related to the committee that was formed to deal with state employees who work with the rebellion, indicating that the committee works according to laws and regulations and does not dare to dismiss a state employee unless it is proven that he is involved in acts that contradict the laws related to work in the civil service.
