A Afia Card for Sudanese Residing in Egypt Launches

The Federal Minister of Health, Dr. Haitham Mohamed Ibrahim, revealed the launch of the “Afia” card in partnership with Exxon Health to provide health services to Sudanese residing in the Arab State of Egypt, pointing to the increase in their need for insurance, especially for those with chronic diseases and emergency cases.
Haitham said that the important step in the work of the Medical Chancellery in the Republic of Egypt, pointing to the need to continue the service with a high degree of transparency that achieves justice in the provision of treatment in institutions, and the provision of consulting, therapeutic and diagnostic services provided through the card.
The Minister confirmed when addressing Asviria the inauguration ceremony of the Afia card in the presence of the Sudanese Foreign Minister, Dr. Ali Youssef, the Ambassador of Sudan to the Republic of Egypt, Lieutenant General Engineer Emad El-Din Mustafa Adawi, the Medical Counselor at the Embassy of Sudan in Egypt, Dr. Khader Faisal Abu Bakr, the Director of Exxon Health, Dr. Abdul Rahman Ramah and many relevant authorities, confirmed the distribution of the card to resident citizens starting from today
