Khartoum State Security Committee visits the border gate with River Nile State to enhance its role in securing the state

Khartoum State Security Coordination Committee, headed by the Governor of Khartoum, Ahmed Osman Hamza, and its full membership, moved to hold its periodic meeting at the headquarters of the northern gate on the state’s borders with River Nile State.

The governor said that the visit and holding the meeting at the gate site comes to confirm its role in the state’s security plan as an important point where all security agencies are represented to monitor all violations, seize stolen goods and currency and smuggling out of the state, and seize infiltrators and collaborators with the militia.
The governor added that the gate will be provided with electronic entrances and exits, however, there will be flexibility in dealing with commercial goods that the citizen needs after they meet the specifications.

The governor revealed an integrated service project accompanying the gate, which includes parking lots, a fuel station, a rest area, restaurants, and a mosque, in addition to its contribution to developing the area around it, while the water station that supplies the area has been completed.
In the context, the Khartoum State Security Affairs Coordination Committee met at the gate headquarters and reviewed the criminal and security situation in the state, as criminal reports decreased by 50%.
The meeting also listened to a report on the mass theft of mobile phones that took place at one of the sites during the charging process, as 10 reports were opened by the owners of the mobile phones and investigations are underway to uncover the theft.
The meeting also called for caution against the infiltration of collaborators with the militia whenever the security zone expands and for citizens to report suspects.
The meeting also called for stricter combating of negative phenomena and practices associated with them and activating the work of the military police to control violating motor vehicles.
The meeting also agreed to provide more security and service support to Bahri locality, considering that it is witnessing a steady expansion in safe areas after being cleansed of the rebellion.
The meeting also reviewed the successful security operations carried out by the security cell by arresting two sleeper cells working with the enemy and a gang specializing in looting and theft.
