Khartoum Governor discusses with the Zadna International Group its contribution to the reconstruction work of the state

Under the direction of the Head of the Sovereignty Council, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, 1st. Lieutenant General Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan, to the Zadna International Group to work with the states in the reconstruction work of what was destroyed by the war.
The Governor of Khartoum, Ahmed Osman Hamza, received a delegation from the Zadna Company headed by the company’s General Manager, Dr. Taha Hussein, in the presence of Major General Hafez Al-Taj Mekki, Director of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief, and from the Khartoum State side, the Secretary-General of the Khartoum State Government, Professor Al-Hadi Abdel Sayed, and a number of General Managers of Ministries and Executive Directors of Localities attended.
The Director General of Zadna said that their visit to Khartoum State comes within the framework of learning about the state’s priorities in reconstruction work, pointing to Zadna’s experience during the war, which contributed to providing consumer goods through which it was able to limit the rise in prices, in addition to the infrastructure projects it implemented in the field of roads, construction and rehabilitation of airports, stressing that the return of Zadna will be in proportion to the sacrifices made by the citizen and the regular forces in the war of dignity.
He said that any drop of blood shed in order to remain will be met with a project for construction and reconstruction, and our goal is to rebuild Sudan.
The Governor of Khartoum welcomed the return of Zadna to Khartoum State and touched on the projects that Zadna implemented before the war, adding that we know the seriousness and capabilities of Zadna and we expect it to help us in reconstruction programs according to priorities. The Governor touched on the destruction and looting that the productive sectors were exposed to in the fields of industry, animal production, electricity sector and road rehabilitation, indicating that the priorities in the areas that are being cleared are to remove war remnants and explosive devices, secure neighborhoods, provide food aid through the Providing Food Centers and restore services.
In addition, an agreement was reached between the two sides to prepare a matrix and a roadmap for the projects that the state wishes to rebuild, guided by the outcomes of the Port Sudan Reconstruction Workshop that the state recently organized.
