Higher Education Calls on University Directors to Submit Report on the Extent of the Damage by the Militia

Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research,Prof. Mohamed Hassan Dahab stressed the ministry’s keenness to support and develop the performance of public universities so that they can perform their mission and contribute to advancing development and growth, welcoming in this aspect the visions and ideas submitted by university administrations in order to promote higher education and scientific research to contribute in turn to addressing many issues.

This came during a meeting at his temporary office in Port Sudan with the directors of the universities of Al-Butana, Sudan for Science and Technology, El Geneina and Al-Daein, where he was briefed on the performance of these universities in the academic and administrative fields and their endeavor to raise the performance of their employees.

Prof. Dahab called on the directors of higher education institutions to submit a detailed report of the systematic destruction and devastation of their institutions by the Militia, to show the extent of the damage , adding that his ministry will do everything possible to develop universities
