Health Minister Meets with the Armed Forces Medical Services Department

The Federal Ministry of Health revealed that 100 tons of medicines will be sent to Gezira State that will arrive in the next two days by medical supplies.

The Federal Minister of Health, Dr. Haitham Mohamed Ibrahim, held a meeting with Major General Qassem Al-Zain Al-Naqr, Deputy Director of Medical Services in the Armed Forces (Medical Corps), the meeting dealt with coordination between health and medical services, they presented a report on the restoration of medical services in most army institutions, especially in Port Sudan, Atbara, Shendi hospitals and others.

The Federal Minister of Health, Dr. Haitham Mohamed Ibrahim, said in a press statement after the meeting, that the Department of Medical Services of the forces confirmed the possibility of resuming kidney transplants at the Medical Weapon Hospital and cardiac catheterization at Alia Hospital, pointing to the importance of coordination to operate other hospitals and additions in them.

The minister pointed out that the Deputy Director of Services thanked the Ministry of Health in the battle of dignity and its support for institutions, and called for integration and coordination in medical services with health, especially health centers, kidney services, medical weapons and kidney transplantation.
