Foreign Minister discusses with Indian Chargé d’Affaires the development of bilateral relations between the two countries

Ambassador Dr. Ali Youssef, Minister of Foreign Affairs, received in his office, Girga Shankar Joshi, the Indian Chargé d’Affaires in Sudan.
The meeting discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to develop them.
The Minister praised the distinguished relations with India and thanked the Indian government for the support it has continued to provide to Sudan, Sudanese students studying in India, and patients receiving treatment there.
The meeting also discussed presenting a new vision for developing trade and economic relations between the two countries and providing facilities for businessmen, companies, and investors to push these relations forward.
The meeting was attended by Ambassador Dr. Muhammad Abdullah Ali Al-Tom, the new Sudanese Ambassador to India.
It is noteworthy that India has approved the nomination of Ambassador Dr. Muhammad Abdullah Al-Tom as Sudan’s Ambassador to it.
