Al-Burhan monitors the progress of the currency replacement process at the Central Bank of Sudan

Head of the Sovereignty Council, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, 1st. Lieutenant General Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan, yesterday paid an inspection visit to the Central Bank of Sudan, to monitor the progress of the currency replacement process.
He was received at the bank’s headquarters by the Governor of the Bank of Sudan, Barai Siddiq Ali, and a number of department directors and executives.
Head of the Sovereignty Council was briefed on the plan being implemented by the Central Bank, to ensure that the replacement process proceeds with ease and convenience. He toured a number of departments and sections of the Central Bank, and monitored the efforts of the workers in the field to make the currency replacement process a success, praising the high efficiency and strong will shown by the employees of the Central Bank and workers in the banking sector despite the exceptional circumstances that the country is going through, stressing the state’s full support for the Central Bank in carrying out its strategic tasks.
