Al-Burhan meets the Salamat Tribe Coordination Delegation

Head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan, met today with the Salamat Tribe Coordination Delegation headed by Major General (Rtd.) Abdul Malik Al-Bashir Musa, Chairman of the Coordination.
The Chairman of the Salamat Coordination indicated in a press statement that the meeting addressed the overall security, service and humanitarian conditions in the country, adding, “We confirmed to the Head of the Sovereignty Council, Commander-in-Chief, our firm and steadfast position in support of the armed forces as they fight the battle of dignity and pride to defeat the terrorist militia, expressing his condemnation of the crimes and violations committed by the militia against the Sudanese people and Sudanese state institutions.
His Excellency added that national responsibility necessitates the unity of the national ranks to enhance unity, security and stability and work as one behind the armed forces and support them to eliminate the militia and remove it from Sudanese society and achieve security, stability and peace, calling on all tribal components in South Darfur State to leave the ranks of the militia that has no program or goal other than destroying Sudan, and to side with the call of the homeland and make Sudan Strongly unified, Major General (Rtd.) Abdul Malik Al-Bashir stressed that the armed forces will remain the country’s safety valve and the guarantor of Sudan’s unity and stability.
