Al-Burhan meets a delegation of eastern Sudan tribes in the Red Sea and Kassala states

Head of the Sovereignty Council, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, 1st. Lieutenant General Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan met today with a delegation of eastern Sudan tribes in the Red Sea and Kassala states, in the presence of the Red Sea Governor, Lieutenant General Mustafa Mohamed Nour.
The meeting discussed the overall security, service and humanitarian conditions in eastern Sudan, and the role of civil society components in supporting national issues and strengthening the unity of the national ranks to overcome the challenges facing the country.
The Red Sea State Governor said that the delegation congratulated the Head of the Sovereignty Council and the Sudanese people on the occasion of the 69th anniversary of independence..
The delegation affirmed their support and backing for the armed forces as they fight the battle of dignity and pride against the Rapid Support terrorist militia.
The governor indicated that the delegation announced its complete rejection of hate speech, and stressed the importance of national unity to overcome the challenges facing the country, besides concerted efforts to stabilize the country, achieve the desired development and provide the necessary services to citizens in eastern Sudan.
He said that the Head of the Sovereignty Council thanked the delegation for standing united behind the armed forces to preserve the unity and stability of Sudan, and affirmed his support for all issues of eastern Sudan.
For his part, honorable Mohamed El-Amin Tirik, Chief of the Hadandawa Tribes, said, “On behalf of the delegation of the tribes of eastern Sudan, we extend our sincere congratulations and blessings to the Head of the Sovereignty Council and the Sudanese people on the anniversary of independence, praising the role of the armed forces and their keenness to preserve the country’s gains, stability and territorial integrity, pointing out that the meeting comes within the framework of drawing a map to support national unity in eastern Sudan to achieve security, stability and peace in Sudan.
Tirik announced the rejection of the Chiefs of the tribes of eastern Sudan in the Red Sea and Kassala states of foreign interference in Sudanese affairs under the cover of humanitarian support, noting the capabilities that Sudan has.
